Bicycle: Convenient to Ogden corridor (bike lane)
or 19th, 21st streets (both quiet secondary streets which are
through all the way to Halsted). There are many options for
travel downtown or to UIC while avoiding busy streets. This
area may have the most dense network of secondary "through"
streets in the city, making it possible to bike to almost any
destination, even to Cicero, primarily on a quiet side street.
The boulevard facing is like having a park for a
front lawn In the summertime there are many family gatherings
along this parkway, and live music can be heard from many directions
on some holiday weekends.
The backyard was redone last year and gardening
options can be facilitated.
Automobile parking is difficult here due to the
boulevard configuration, so ideal tenant will be bike/ped/transit
oriented and able to appeciate a neighborhood that was built
for PEOPLE first, and not just cars.
